First timer

Postby Thirstymick » Tue Dec 26, 2017 2:10 pm

Just received a new still for Xmas, having not made a brew of any kind before can’t wait to see how it turns out. The equipment I have is a pure distilling unit, looks impressive. I’m just getting use to some of the terms used in brewing so I can understand what people are talking about, cheers too all.

Merry Christmas to you Mick :handgestures-thumbupleft: first up don’t bother with the turbo yeast that probably came with the kit, try a tpw from the tried and proven recipe section.
Who bought you the still? If it was you’re wife/ partner, make her something she likes early on, that way you’ll get her hooked to this greatly rewarding hobby and will be in the clear to make yourself some good, non hangover, quality booze :handgestures-thumbupleft: :laughing-rolling:
