Hi all,

Just wanted to say hello after registering in April and lurking for over a year.

Now getting the parts together to start building so I can make limoncello.

That's what started this. My father used to make limoncello and grapa (crazy wogs love their homemade booze - I can say it cause I'm Hungarian/Italian/bitsa 8-} ) and I was learning and keeping the tradition going.
So I went and bought some Polish Pure Spirit aka rectified spirit at 95%ABV and it was $75 per 500ml.

After doing this a few times the research started.

So I'm going to start with neutrals but I also like vodka, and scotch, and rum, and bourbon... Ohh almost forgot gin, plus there may be others I will eventually do.

That's me.

Thanks for reading.

I'll go back to lurking now and post when I have more to say.

Cheers,
Wanos ( short for Want Another Operating System)

G'day mate

Limoncello is a snap once you can make a good neutral.

Enjoy the hobby :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Welcome Wanos.

There's lots of great info floating around the forums. Sounds like you'll need a modular still if you want to do neutral and flavoured spirits.

Cheers.
Prof. Green.

Welcome, there is a good recipe for limoncello in the tried and proven which I have made a couple of times.
I have not made grappa yet but that will be done eventually as soon as I get some cheap wine. I know it is not the right way of doing it but it is close enough.

Regards,
Nino
