My First TPW - how to distill?

Postby tonyg » Fri May 11, 2018 3:42 pm

Hi all, thanks for the great information which I have used to ditch Turbo Carbon packs and make my first TWP brew which has just gone into the fermenter and is already bubbling like mad.

Now I'm turning my attention to distilling that wash in a week or so. I've tried to nut my way through the info about distilling here but my head is a mess of jargon and terminology. Too many steps for me to take in.

Is there a simple guide to distilling TPW using the T500 turbo still? How to do a stripping run and why? How to do fractions and why? What to do with leftover fractions?

Thanks, Tony

Hi Tony,

:text-+1: on the good advice above.

Your very first run can be quite daunting. WJ's guide is a ripper and should get you off to a good start.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.
