Hello all, From the Hunter Valley, NSW

Good Morning all,

I thought I would drop in and say hello, I have been lurking for a while, gathering information.

I have been brewing and stilling for about 15 years, both beers and spirits.

First still was a SS reflux CM POS, I was given to play with, it kept me happy for a little while.

I now have a valved reflux with offset condenser, its has a 1200mm x 50mm column, 3" twin worm condenser, on a 50lt keg with 2400 and 1200w elements, the 1200 has a variable power control I built a few years ago. It is all copper.

It runs well and can handle full 2400w power and hold 78c temp the whole way.

I normally do a fast strip run of several smaller washes and then do a LONG, SLOW run to end up with super clean neutral.

I have never run it as a POT or done a flavour run, it does interest me, just have not got there yet.

I have begun to gather parts for a 4" Bubbler.
Planning on a 4", 4 plate column, removable packed section, with 2" PC.

It will also be all copper, I have made a couple of practice Easy Flanges, seem to be ok.

Anyway, that's me, also into camping/caravanning with family, dirt bikes, guns.
I live near Maitland, NSW.

Thank you all for the welcome.
Reading and trying to work out what plate design I want for my bubbler.
So much to learn.

Thanks
