Cheers for the welcome.
I am going to DIY my own pot still, for the most part i can get all the copper fittings i need local.
Now the bit i need advice with is what size tube should be used for the column i was going to 500mm long by 2", i will b using a keg as the boiler.
Advice on the column is what i am chasing and where the cheapest place to get the tube and a reducer down to 3/4
Thanks in advance.
Oh and where best place to find a keg pls...

Welcome, what area are you in - helps the ppl local to you give you pointers on suppliers :)
Gumtree is great for kegs - depends where you are. Watch the legality......
Scrap yards are great, pipe is roughly 1/2 - 2/3 retail and fittings, if they are there, are rediculoulsy cheap by the kg
