Good Evening

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Good Evening

Evening ladies and gents

I'm Neil, 47, father of three and living on the other side of this small planet of ours in the far SW of the UK.

Started out wine and beer making when I was a kid and distilling became my main hobby about five years ago when I bought an Airstill. Wasn't happy with that so a couple of years ago I upgraded to a T500 from Still Spirits. Some say they are a waste of time but now that I have learnt a bit, I am knocking out some really good neutral which I add essences to and also make some great liquers using hedgerow fruit.

I joined the group to meet some new friends, learn more and hopefully help out others if I can. I'm still pretty much a novice but always eager to learn.

I do have a few questions about using the T500 but will have a good look around the forum to see if they have already been asked first.

Cheers all

Neil

Welcome Neil.

There is a great thread on getting the best out of the T500 in the newbies section that might be of interest to you.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Hey guys

Thanks for the warm welcome, its appreciated.

Boardy62 - I really enjoy using the T500. It makes great neutral but I'm now getting to the stage where I'm thinking I need to build something bigger. I'm not the most experienced when it comes to different setups but I have taken a liking to the CCVM system with a 120 litre boiler made from a domestic copper water tank. I won't go on about it on this thread but no doubt there will be plenty of questions soon.
