Hanging in the shadows

Postby Jbish » Sat Sep 22, 2018 5:48 pm

Hello there, been lerking around the shadows for sometime now and thought it was about time I said hello. Got started using a 2 inch pot still that I made using the information I gathered from here. Have been using a 3 ring burner for heating and a 1000 ltr ibc with a submergable pump for recirculation of water. I have been running tpw washes and rum washes. Got abit side tracked for awhile and started having ago at brewing beer, but have recently started up stilling again. Going to keep the pot still for rums etc but have settled on building a 3 inch slant plate boka. Have been reading and reading every chance I get and I've just started gathering the materials . Picked up 2.5 mtrs of 3 inch for $120 have got all the materials for the pc just need 1/4 inch for the rc and a 3/8 needle valve and a few reducers etc anyway that's me for now will post pics up of current set up when I get a chance.
Cheers , jbish
