G'day all

Say Hi and introduce yourself

G'day all

Postby M8Harry » Wed Mar 27, 2019 6:47 pm

G'day everyone,

Im very new to distilling but have made kit home brew beer in the past, I thought I would jump on and learn a thing or 3.

Ill probably ask n00b sauce questions but I will search for answers first before posting away ;-)

My aim is to play around with the reflux still I have at the moment (Purchased off a mate) and when I work out what I want to make, I will be investing in the right methods and gear but for now I just wanna get my head around the fundamentals.

Take care everyone.

Hey ya. It’s one of the pure distilling stills with a 25L boiler.

I’ll add that to my profile shortly.

G'day M8 and welcome! :greetings-waveyellow:
Wise idea getting your head around the fundamentals before you invest in unnecessary or the wrong gear for the job.

Welcome
I've run many batches on the pure distilling 2", great place to start.

Quick question for the brains trust,

I want to ask some questions that are partly covered in an old thread (2016 era) is reviving ancient posts ok or should I post up a new one? I cant PM an admin yet so I just thought I would post here.

Ask away Harry... you can add to any post, just have a search for the answers first in case they have already been covered. There is a search function in the top menu bar.

Its fine to bring up old threads (there's gold in them there hills),
Just don't expect the original thread starter to reply,
It gives a lot of the newer guys a chance to read it as well.
But yes, please do search first.
