Hi from the Blue Mountains

Postby hnhupi » Wed Jul 10, 2019 10:22 pm

Hi everyone!

Been lurking for a while. A few weeks ago I thought I knew all I needed to know to get started and was determined to buy a T500, I was just looking for a couple extra details when I found this forum.
That's when I realized I had much more reading to do, currently on page 5 of the beginners section :)

I've been fermenting all sort of things for the past few years, mainly lactofermented foods and more recently I started playing with meads, and fruit wines.
I am planning to make neutral for vodkas and infusions initially, and then move to gins.

Now I need to get my post count to 10 I will be able to get in touch with Wraith71 who is selling a still a stones throw from me.

A bit more about me.. I'm originally from Europe, more specifically from the land of grappa and limoncello (that happens to be on my todo list). My job took me to Australia about 6 years ago, initially in Sydney. Last year I had the opportunity to move west, to the Blue Mountains, a place that I am in love with!

I got 10 posts and a sweet still now! Andrew, I'll try to get in touch tomorrow for a milk can boiler and some clarification on heating elements, I promise I'll do some research on the topic first :ugeek:
