Welcome mate, enjoy the reading and hope your first run goes well. Just make sure you follow the running a t500, the proper way thread.

Welcome Murray, we’ve all been in the same place you have at one stage or another.
It’s what you do from here on that will make the difference

Hi mate welcome :greetings-waveyellow:

It's easy to become overwhelmed with all the info on here. My advice is just keep it simple and get the basics right then add small changes as you go and learn. Spend most of your time in the newbies corner and the t500 thread db showed you above.

You'll be fine just take your time.

Hi Shane, I did the same thing as you with the T500. Depending on what you want to make will help you choose the type of still that will replace the T500. It's a good starting point though. And it's easy to sell on gumtree once you have a better one. Keep reading the info here and you will learn heaps. :-B

Welcome Shane.

The T500 isn't so bad, it's just that many people outgrow it's capabilities fairly quickly.

Have a read of the thread db mentioned and there's a couple other threads you should read to help you get the best out of it too. The "So you bought a home brew shop still...." thread has links to them.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.
