Hi guys, bit of an update on the setup, better late than never!
Got hold of two kegs and welded them together from memory its about 75L. 6" clean port and 4" fill and column and 2" drain (original top). Also got 5 bubble plates because they look good! I dunno if other use plates with a LM system.

From the research I've done plates with LM works great. You can more or less dial in the ABV you're after and get away with a 1.5 or even a 1.0 run.

Also a lot easier to manage than a CM rig. Just be mindful of entrainment issues if the plates are too close together.

Cheers for the info tesla, ill keep it in mind and do some research myself about it. I prefer the simplicity of LM but enjoy the plates so I guess thats my reasoning.
