Point taken guys!

First reflux run on Thursday. 50L TPW came off initially at 94% and fell away to 92% by the end. Super happy, product is clean AF.

Looks functional.
Pretty wild looking element covers.

Why did you move the 2nd element up so high?

The element covers are electrical cable gland shrouds which are slightly to big. Will grab the next size down when I am back at the workshop next.

Unfortunately I stuffed up my initial plan of having the two elements parallel as low as possible. Doesn't pay to learn TIG welding half cut at 830 at night. Hence the massive patch. I don't think it's going to make to much difference anyways as I plan on doing full runs and once up to temp in reflux I was only using 1 of the bottom elements at 60%.

Hi ben

Sorry to bust ya chops, but im really not keen on that chairbench's lack of duct tape and wood clamps for structural integrity :law-policered:

You really need to treat/respect this stuff more like petrol, less like wine spritzer

All good the picture doesn't really show case the use of sky hooks as well as I intended. Also I did watch the process a whole 50% more this time!

In all fairness I'm just trying to run as much E85 as I can currently paying $1.95 p/l.
