Greets from Melbourne

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Greets from Melbourne

Postby Robsalvv » Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:28 pm

Hi folks,

By way of an intro, I'm new to the hobby and late coming to it at 50, but coming from an italian family, I have had a long exposure to home made wine and grappa. My relos have some pretty agricultural stills, have never heard of starsan or HBS bought yeast, but they churn out some decent grappa. I'm looking to go a step better.

I've been browsing the boards, getting the lay of the land and soaking it all in.

I used to moderate a motorcycle forum that used a platform just like this - hopefully the natives here are a lot better behaved!

Look forward to participating.

Cheers
Rob

Welcome Rob,

I love my Italian motorcycles, but most of my currently bikes are not Italian.

Enjoy

G'day O'ffy, thanks for the welcome. I'm a Kawasaki man myself, but I have ridden with a few Italian bikes over the years and admired many more - they are well out of my price range!

Cheers :)

Thanks mate. Ultimately make some of my own malt whisky, but for now, I'll settle for a functioning still and half a clue running it. lol I'll probably mess around with sugar washes and basic washes for a while I would imagine.
