Hi all!

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Hi all!

Postby Cooper » Sun May 03, 2020 2:35 pm

Hello everyone,

Have lurked here for a while soaking up all the great knowledge this place has and am now diving in (or perhaps that should be "cautiously wading in"!)

I'm aiming to make the cleanest ethanol I can with only a T500 and once that's mastered then perhaps upgrade equipment and experiment with some Gin.

Cheers!

Welcome to AD cooper.

Plenty of decent neutral has been made with aT500 - you just need to run it right. Have a read of this and the linked threads inside to help you get the best out of it.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Thanks bluc. I mentioned it because they get slagged off a bit but we all have to start somewhere and I'm happy so far :)

Thanks Prof, I'm pretty happy so far with nice 92% hearts. The only issue I have is a sort of Butterscotch ester (that others may perhaps be very proud of in other styles). I'm running with the theory that its due to Turbo yeast so will move over to the TPW and see how it goes with that.

Thanks for that link -I hadn't seen it before and will study it.

Cheers
