14 years from buy to 1st use

Say Hi and introduce yourself

14 years from buy to 1st use

Postby Hoota » Sat May 16, 2020 10:14 pm

G’day from Melbourne,
Bought a still spirits reflux off my mate 14 years ago, he promised me a free lesson, but never got around to it.
Started making mead, then thought to myself, why not try making vodka. Watched a few you tube videos, went to the home brew shop, made a neutral, joined AD, read a lot, made a TPW, did more reading. Now a bit hobsessed (hobby obsessed), love to learn, and get the benefit of my learning each time I run my old/new still.

Like a landslide. Sometimes things move imperceptibly slowly at first, then whump! It all happens at once.
Welcome to the hobby. Enjoy!
