Gday all
Long time beer brewer and after a bit of a break i find myself looking to change my ways.
Spirit distilling has always been in my mind but i think due to adverse life conditions at the moment has pushed me to experiment in the world of spirit distilling (sanitiser and possibly in the future something drinkable).
I already have a really crude copper still that as a bit of an experiment has no got me hooked and looking to go better.
I sure the wealth of info on this site will give me enough to spin my head :cool:
So at the moment im building a keg still (reflux) with all stainless ferrules, tri clamps, electric element heater, inkbird 308 controler and some decent welding skills.
Ill do some perusing of the threads and sure i might come up with some questions as i convert from beer to spirits.

equipment: Eve - 4" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (sieve plates), 330 mm packed section on a keg boiler with 2 x 2000 W elements.
Currently having a makeover: 2" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (1" bubble caps, no sight glasses...maybe not for much longer!) on a bain-marie boiler.
