New Still

Hi All,

Have been a member on this site for a while and have used it extensively while researching this awesome hobby.
Was one of those people who bought a Turbo 500 on a whim, learnt heaps and am now at the point where I’m finding it very limiting.

I recently got in touch with Andrew from 5 Star and with his help and guidance (and sign off from the CEO) ordered my new still. Which is the Neutraliser with the Carter Head.

Very excited to see where this will take me, and looking forward to the very steep learning curve I will be up against.

Tipping I’m going to be doing heaps of research via the existing posts on this forum but will probably have lots of additional questions.

Hoping that I can lean on some of the members of this great forum for support and additional guidance.

Thanks in advance

Piet

Welcome mate, just about everything you will want to know is on the forum, unfortunately due to the size some of it does get lost in threads but if you ask the question it will either be answered or you will be directed to the answer :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Welcome! That's a ripper of an upgrade.

Once you get your head around running it (they're not as complicated as they look) you'll be well on your way to epic home stilling happiness!

Thanks Ginking,

Interested to hear your thoughts on the Neutraliser and on the Carter Head when you get it going.

I have a Davey submersible pump and a 220L Brown Olive barrel for the reservoir. Hoping that 220L will be enough, but will have to wait and see.

Cheers

Thanks Prof. Green,

Heard today it’s all packed and ready for shipping. Hoping it gets here by the weekend. But think that may be pushing it due to all of the COVID issues.

Cheers

Piet
