Howdy All,

Just started distilling and been reading AD as a guest for quite some time, figured it quite rude that i hadn't made an account yet and now here i am!
Had a long time interest in distilling but sparked off when a mate showed me his air still that he has been using.
Started myself off with PD reflux rig as wanted to have modular ability to make rums/whisky down the road...
but looking through the forum i am already getting copper FOMO and dreaming
Not much experience with copper and soldering but TIG welder by career so figure i'll have some handskills that will transfer over

Look forward to chatting more with everyone

Cheers,
SaltyPeanuts

Like you I am only new but my skill set was more along the lines of drinking for years. So far my skill set has held me in good stead hopefully yours will be a little more useful.
Heaps of guys here happy to share what they have learnt.

Hi mate, welcome.

Yep building stills are fun as hell. If you can tig your 90% there. Soft soldering will be pretty simple for someone with your background.

Enjoy the forum :handgestures-thumbupleft:
