Im a beekeeper in Melbourne that dabbles in Homebrew and it seems that I have stumbled across an ingredient I can use for distilling. When processing my wax leftovers I end up with a rich but dirty honey water with a SG of about anywhere between 1.110 and 1.170. Also I get a bochet honey that is thick and dark like mollasses. So a friend and I ended up making a Honey Moonshine which isnt terrible.

So now that I have about 80 litres of honey water Im looking to sharpen my distilling skills rather than tipping the honey water and down the drain. Im pretty much a beginner but learn super fast :)

Looking forward to starting a new hobby

Cheers
Stu
