Hey guys,
cheers for the ad,
just here to learn, pretty sure ill learn more from here than taking a distillery course.. as i know the basics..
just purchased a 100L boiler and components from 5 Star and a couple other copper bits from
Down Under still, cant wait til they rock up and i can get into it..
Going to be distilling Gin and Rum, from macs rum recipe, plus ill throw in some extras
hopefully going to be able to use everything off my farm. even gonna put in some sugar cane
will post a pic of my still once its all arrived.. but so far its still just a drawing after half a litre of rum..

100L boiler + 4” whisky head + 3 x 4” bubble plates + 4” carter head thumper + 2” carter head, then off into the condenser

cheers again boys..!

The best stuff comes from crazy ideas :-B
I’m sure I’ve had plenty of great ideas , most at 3am after a bottle of corn something :scared-eek:
But, I never remember them ~x(

were thinking of setting up a distillery later on.. hence why i half went all out for a starter.. want to go from seed to bottle all on the farm.. have set aside 2 ha for grape vines, citrus trees, 100yo mulberry trees that i cloned from a family farm, juniper berry bushes, irrigated sugar cane, peach trees, apricot trees ill have a full orchard set up in a few years.. gonna do Port, Port Rum, Rum & Gin…
