Hi guys

Been doing all grain beer for a good while and just about to start down a new rabbit hole! I have a 65Ltr digiboil so should just need a still as far as I can see.

Can borrow an air still to get me started but thinking on building a modular bubbler with some 100mm copper pipe I have, figuring to make a column, u bend and a shotgun condenser to start, running as a pot still then adding bubbler tees and making another condenser as I go.

Looking at the bubbler systems for sale they all seem to reduce to 50mm for the product condenser, but as I only have 100mm, will it be an issue if both reflux and product condensers are in 100mm? Is there a benefit to reducing down to 50mm?

Appreciate any advice cheers

Welcome Ned
The only issue with going 4” all the way is weight distribution, it’ll want to fall over all the time and the cost (non issue since you have the stuff)
Good luck and have fun :handgestures-thumbupleft:
