Hey all.

Just started in the hobby. Got an alcoengine setup from Kegland the other week and have been trying it out. Looking forward to trying different recipes and upgrading my hardware! Will also try to make some cider at some point I think, for those hot days where the spirits just aren't cold enough ;)

Welcome tastgr.

One good upgrade I can recommend is to add a pot still to your kit. Not only can you use it for flavoured runs such as whiskies, rums, gin etc if you're into those but you can also use it to strip your neutral washes prior to distilling which will really improve the quality of your neutral spirit.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.
