Hi everyone - from the guts of the NT

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Hi everyone - from the guts of the NT

Postby Camikaze » Fri Jul 27, 2012 7:41 pm

Gday all,

Thought I would chime in and say hi.

Bit about myself, I am in the ADF and currently living in Katherine (Tindal) NT.

Married, two kids and two arsehole dogs.

Have been browsing this site for yonks and finally got my arse into gear and picked up a 50l keg and some copper pipe today. Keg cost nix cos I used to work with the local publican. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I am an avid scotch/bourbon swiller and am keen to get started on a swish lil' potstill. The build itself will take me a while though cos the trouble n' strife is currently deployed to the middle east until October. (playing the single parent...)

Look forward to havin a yarn.

Oh, and......Collingwood for Premiers eh!!!!!

Welcome Mr Ikaze
a good potstill is for sure what you need.
Mate, Collingwood is a football team, I presume. Why would you want a bunch of footballers running the states? Surely the current political mob are sh#t enough for you?

Isn't that the normal reaction from someone who isn't a collingwood supporter?? :teasing-tease:

Welcome mate, looks like you'll fit in here like a nun at carpet likkin convention. Good luck with your build. I dont follow afl but a mate at work is a collingwood supporter and love ribbing him haha.

Whats the difference between a park bench and a Collingwood supporter?
A park bench can support a family of four!

welcome cam. that's a mutant profile pic you got there!

watch your ferment temps up there - especially if you're after flavoured spirit - you might not get the flavour you're wanting if the ferment gets too hot.

lotsa brewers use fridges with a temp controller to keep at the desired temp
