Hello and thank you

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Hello and thank you

Postby Phil » Fri Feb 08, 2013 10:36 pm

Hi all, I didn't want to post before making a reasonable drink from this hobby. Tonight I'm drinking a few mixed drinks from the bottle that didn't quite make the UJSM oak aging cut so I thought it was time to post and say thank you. I've enjoyed the information and more importantly the constructive thinking and criticism of builds, ideas etc... that most here seem to take in their stride.

I built and have been running a 2" boka on a 32L boiler for a while now making some good 95% with TPW and I did a spirit run today with 3 gens worth of UJSM. I put 5L of the SM @ 60% on AO MT+ dominoes, and another 1L on heavily charred AO dominoes. Trying a bit of it white tonight and it's not too bad compared to the JD I have next to it. I also have 4L of wheat germ at 60% on HT FO dominoes that I made from a used red wine barrel that is almost at a month.

At the moment I’m working on a perforated plate setup that I can slide into the Boka in place of the mesh. I’ll put up some pics and info about this soon in another thread.

Anyway just want to say thank you for all the info here and I hope I can contribute some back.

Regards,
Phil
