Gidday from the Gold Coast

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Gidday from the Gold Coast

Postby Dyno » Sat Sep 21, 2013 2:22 pm

Hey Guys n Gals....joined up a few weeks back, so thought i better drop in here an do the intro thing.

5 or 6 or so weeks back, came home to a pressy on the kitchen bench from the Mrs..she went out an plonked a heap of cash on a T500 and odds n ends, told me to get my arse into the laundry and start bein useful.. :)) ..ooooookkkay...so, having now read up a bit on the T500 seems it may not of been the best value..anyways, after reading my quarterly statement, I reckon odds on if makes for better reading next quarter, Im all for it.
Did a couple of turbo brews to start off....Fek Me...talk about stink...still...went thru the process, distilled it twice...( not sure why, but I did...cos some one on here said you should..) and put most on chips for 3 weeks. Came out pretty dam good actually. Just done 2 x TPW washes today, man...good shit, Im into this. Smooth, odour free and cheap as all hell....half the turbo quantity but doubly smooth ...anyways, that's my 6 week foray intro into brewing. Wifeys into the Whiskey so I better read up on mashes n pot stills..????...I guess...thanks for takin time to read, see yas on the flip side....Dyno.. :handgestures-thumbupleft: :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Welcome Dyno
Some take awhile to be convinced that turbo's are more pain than gain.
Looks like you upgraded real quick. :handgestures-thumbupleft: :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Keep stillin and reading and stillin and .... you get the idea.
The more you put each theory into practice, the sooner it all makes sense.

Welcome mate, you're now banned from turbos. You'll get a good neutral out of the 500 if you move into the much cheaper tomato paste washes.
