Hi All from the Sunshine Coast

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Hi All from the Sunshine Coast

Postby thegoose » Thu Oct 24, 2013 8:10 pm

Hi All,
I have been lurking around as a guest for a few months now ready to post.
My history with distilling is fairly short I started with a small 1" valved reflux still which proved to perform poorly and I quickly learnt the shortcomings of this rig and the importance of knowledge and experience, the unit produced well at 94% albeit with everything smeared together.
I have attached some photos of the new still which has performed very well during its vinegar and alcohol cleaning runs, it's nice to see and finally be able to recognise fores, heads, hearts and tails (thanks kiwi).
A big thanks to everyone who shares information on this site, it's great putting this information into practice
I have two TPW clearing and now that the still is clean and tested looking forward to running them.
Cheers
