Hello From The Frozen North!!!

Postby DRIFTER_016 » Wed Jan 01, 2014 3:43 pm

Good day all!!!
New guy here from the icy Canadian North in Yellowknife North West Territories. :D

Just getting into this new hobby and have been lurking here for a while.
I'm waiting on my equipment to show up (should be here in the next few days hopefully).
Got 50L of molasses wash patiently waiting on it's arrival. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

FYI: For y'all in warmer climates it's currently -43C with -52C wind chills up here!!! :scared-eek:
A fella needs good rum to keep warm. ;-)

Cheers

Dave

I'm off to the sun and warmth of Florida for 6 weeks @ the end of February which will help make up for freezing me nuts off all winter. :))

Not just going for the sun though. There are some stops along the way that need to be made for supplies. Our selection here North of 60* is terrible. Need to pick up a few 50kg pails of molasses and some big ass bags of sugar as well as some charred oak barrels fer aging me rum. :D

Welcome to the forum and this is one reason we joke about weather http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/ ... 30027.html
Australia, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it will change :laughing-rolling:

My buddy is in NZ chasin' trout for the next month or so.
He looks like he's having a fine time down under. ;-)
No snow in his pics though. :?
