Peterhobit Introduction

Postby peterhobit » Fri Jan 24, 2014 11:09 am

Neglected to introduce my self.
Live on the south coast NSW near Nowra. Have a pure distilling spirit maker which I have used 3 times so far. (2 x turbo and just finished a winos sugar wash yesterday) Learned so much from you all so far, have lots to learn .
I have been all grain brewing for 2 years and put out about 60 liters each batch mainly into kegs. Make all sorts of ales.
I like to grow as much food as I can, and make as much as I can. Make cheese and preserves and do a lot of cooking.
Love slow food movement, cook sous vide style which is pretty damn nice.
Have ordered a still from Mac (4 inch 4 plate bubbler with a packed a section) have to sort out a boiler yet.
Love some of the discussions on making bitters and Doc's advice on making concentrate flavors for neutral. Definitely will get into that.

So any how here's to a new hobby and thanks for the site.
