Hi from Cane Country Qld

Hi All

First off love the forum, have recently purchased a 80l copper pot still and dreaming of single malt whisky in 50l casks
The info on this site is mind blowing and numbing, you share and have no problems with beginners like me.
I am initially going down the road of neutral spirit for vodka, wanting to use a essence for flavour, but want to use a 5l still to make the essence myself.
Single Malt Whisky in 50l casks for 2 years.
I have 7 years hopefully sooner to retirement and want this to be a full bore hobby (or better) by that time.
That's a little about me but am but am excited and happy to have found so many similar interested enthusiasts.

Cheers

Wazza (I know it has Boris up there)

hey mate. welcome!

with a pot still i would suggest trying to go with a single malt recipe off the bat. its hard to produce a neutral in a pot still. there are a few on the forum :handgestures-thumbupleft:
