Hi from this side the world.

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Hi from this side the world.

Hi guys, I happened on here from a link on another site, and as I know a couple of names on here, I thought...hey lets give it a go. :greetings-waveyellow:

I've been using an Airstill for around 2 years now, over that time I got to know about the short coming of it. I joined a UK forum and started to learn that there was a lot more out there when it came to this hobby.

A friend of mine who's a plumber got me an old copper tank, I've now just started (today) to build a reflux, I've cut it to give me a 85/90 litre boiler.

I'm going to buid a 3" column (much like Yummyrums, which I've seen in person) so I'll be around on here reading up on bits & bobs.

Cheers Icefever.

The shape of the top will work brilliantly for a boiler. Congrats on the find!

Some guys keep their Airstill to run a small wash through, if they want to try a new wash before going in for a big one....It'll be a while before my new still is up and running so I'll have to put up with using the little one..
