Thought it was about time to join in the fun and contribute something after all the hours spent sponging info from this and other forums. I'm not exactly new to the art as have messed around with distilling on and off (mostly off) as work and other commitments permitted since the late 90's. Made some terrible crap back then, found a old bottle neutral (SS turbo yeast??) from that era in an old removalist carton a while ago.
It hadn't improve with age! Think cats piss and Jet A1 :puke-huge:
Anyhow mostly do Rums now or Wheatbix style washes for vodka / neutral through a 4" plated column with bubble caps and scoria packed section for Gin and Ouzo.
Copper porn it aint! and maybe one day it could do with a sight glass or 2, but anyway it makes a good drop.

Welcome to the madhouse mate. Obviously you've got a decent handle on things if you're running a 4" bubbler without sightglasses! Not many windowless bubblers around here :)

Love to see a pic of your setup :handgestures-thumbupleft:

This was taken quite a while ago so things have changed a bit, like extra heating element and better neater cooling control but you get the idea. About the only thing out of the ordinary is the short (80mm) delphlegmator, it will only just knock down 2400w but is QUICK to respond :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yer I know, the photography's crap  .
