G’day all, and WOW. I don’t want to blow smoke up anyone’s arse but you have created something amazing here!
I started brewing over the summer using the commercially available Air Still and quickly started moving away from the carbon clearing and essences to start using the recipes I found online to make Kahlua, Tia Maria, Irish Cream, Orange Liquor and Spiced Rum from my neutral spirit.
The “Trouble and Strife” keeps telling me there is an “Odd Taste in ya Hooch”, and now you’re all saying to your selves, “He’s still using Turbo Yeast”, posting.php?mode=post&f=3#so yes, today I put down 20ltrs of your TPW recipe, I am wanting to become a TPW convert.
Now I understand that your TPW ferments a little slower and has a slightly lower yield, and I’m used to seeing the Turbo Yeast kick almost straight away, so Question:-
Dose the TPW take a little time to start showing signs of fermentation?
