Yeah I discovered when I got here I thought I knew it all turns out yeah not so much. I am currently running a TPW and a turbo wash side by side to get an exact idea of the differences and will post my results as it goes along thus far after 3 days the Turbo one is maxed fermentation and ready to run through the still the TPW is just over half way in the orange on the hydrometer

So welcome aboard mate what boiler are you running on the t 500 a keg or a crab pot (25) I am really happy with my reflux one mounted on a keg though I am going to swap over to a 80 litre one soon oe of the ancient carlton type ones and I may up the heaters two 2 x 2200 watt instead of one.
