Another from SA

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Another from SA

Postby darkives » Sat May 03, 2014 7:44 am

Howdy ya'll

I have been lurking for the last year or so because I purchased a pure distilling vm still a couple years back, but never used it. Thought I better say hello finally and crank up my still.

So much fantastic information on the board, I have been taking it all in slowly. But the best way for me to remember things is to just do it, so I plan on cranking up the still this weekend (tpw put in 14 days ago, is looking pretty clear).

Wish me luck, and looking forward to reading more on this board.

Welcome bloke,

If you need a hand sourcing in SA let us know and we can sort it. Trust you've had a good read on the cuts post in newbies section, good read to have done before you do your first.
Take plenty of smaller cuts if your not sure after you throw out the first foreshots dangerous shite...the rest we can sort if you need a hand.

good luck with the first run, take your time, there's prizes in this hobby for rushing.

enjoy

Thanks all

I have amassed some 300ml jars to cut into. I have probably over research, I usually do.

Any extra advice for when I start up this pure distilling vm ?

There is no such thing as 'over researching'.

Welcome mate. Enjoy your stay.
