Hi from the West

Hey everyone

Long time homebrewer but decided its time to try something new, managed to pick up a 5L super reflux for $100, bit slow and annoying only having the five litre capacity, but hoping it turns out to be a good investment. First run of making a neutral seems to be good after reading through the suggested changes on the site and look forward to doing more.

Hopefully upgrade to a FSD still when I can manage to afford it, bit outta the price range at the moment. Loving the look of the 4" FSD Neutralizer but, lucky Mac is over this way so I can save on postage hopefully.

Question for the guys over this way, does anyone source their oak cheap as offcuts and would happen to be willing to say where? using essences at the moment, but oaking looks interesting to try.

Cheers

Welcome mate :handgestures-thumbupleft: don't bother oaking neutral.

De tune that mofo or get a pot to make what you really want.

Hang tight for the next group buy of oak Domino's, you won't be disappointed :handgestures-thumbupleft:

if you are looking at oaking neutral to give a wider flavour profile the gobbler chips from the homebrew shop are pretty decent.
