Hi All,

So I will be doing plenty of reading!

Welcome mate :) finding us BEFORE you build or buy a still will make your journey a lot smoother, and in the long run probably cheaper too...

What do you drink/what do you intend to make? What still you need depends on what you want to produce :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I am a fan of rum. So I was thinking a pot still should do what I want. I tried someones home made rum, aged with some white oak, and was blown away by how good it tasted.
I never expected such....quality.... from home made anything! So that is what has convinced me I think I can make some quality myself.

A pot still will do you just fine, and the rum recipes you will find here in the Tried and Proven section will get you making the tastiest rum you've ever had :)
