I was a pot stiller, I loved my pot still I ain't ever gonna make that mistake again. Double runs, low wine storage, B grade piss that needs a world of aging . Yep I sure miss that old pot :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:
Sounds like you got the skills, make a pot, mine cost me fifty bucks to make and took less than an hr to put together and it worked damn well but if you got the skills you will soon tire from its limitations and in all likelihood will end up making a 4 or 6" plated column :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Now thats a pot still Zak, im a bit undersided if I should make my pot still out of stainless, as I have the material on hand, or spend the cash and use copper

He's got about half a dozen IBC's in there, Mac...

I'm gunna talk to my other neighbour about keeping an IBC for cooling on her block... I've got no room haha

If you've got SS available, go with that for your pot... You'll just need a bit of copper in the vapour path to remove sulfides ;-)

Thanks Zac for your reasurance in using stainless with some copper in the column for the sulfides.

We are moving into our new rental home this weekend, and the garage has a little 2.5 x 3m room of to the side, I have claimed this piece of realestate as mine!, as soon as I saw the house with my wife I said yep house is perfect, its gonna be my lab :happy-partydance:
