Welcome mate. Mollases rum wash was my cherry popper and I still have a single bottle of the good stuff left.

Have a poke around and you should find answers to questions you never even knew to ask :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Welcome mate... Wont be long before you can't stand the smell of Beam because your stuff is so much better.

I give it 6 months before you are building or buying a bubbler :handgestures-thumbupleft: :laughing-rolling:

You'll be better off stripping a couple of washes, and rerunning the low wines for a spirit run... Will give you a cleaner, higher ABV% product :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yeah I have gathered that from the forum it has a wealth of knowledge but starting out I'm getting a feel for the still as I'm unsure at what temp the still should run at for the run got a little 12v pump 3lt per hr running the cooling water temp started bout 74-5 now sitting bout 76-7 should I be running it higher temp still getting pretty good flow of spirit so far

Lol haven't had a drink yet and that made my head hurt lol so if I slow the flow down an take the temp up it will collect quicker which would be a stripping run? But if I keep the water flow at my 3lt/min it will keeps the temp down and it comes out pure as possible? :?

Built my first still when living Glenwood, also started this forum while living there, although Wide bay is a huge area & the meals at Gunalda pub were awesome too..... nicest part of the country in my opinion.
