How are we guys
This has been a bit in the making but I'm looking to start making some tasty spirits. I have done the beer scene and come with some brewing knowledge in the all grain side of things. I'm looking at setting up a pot still on a 50l keg figure this is a good starting point and is also fairly cheap considering already have the kegs. I am also going to be on a trip to the states in February to visit the major distilleries there and trying to learn a few secrets

Anyway look forward to starting and bashing ur ears with lots of questions
Cheers :obscene-drinkingdrunk: :text-thankyoublue:

Welcome mate. It's certainly a very rewarding hobby, and you'd know from your beers that effort in = quality product :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yeah indeed although I didn't really take it serious enough but did punch out some cracking beers. This however will demand I take it little more seriously. Very interested to see what I can come up with in the whiskey and bourbon area

No need to be too serious mate apart from the safety aspect.

If you can make good AG beer you can make good shine, it just takes a bit of a mindset change to some of the processes :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yeah too easy. Think the hardest part at the moment is getting head around stripping and spirit runs and then cuts but I'll keep reading. Will have bout a month or two before I start to get some gear setup. Plenty of time to read up

Cheers for the offer unfortunately weekend is already booked up. I am actually in the bridge so definitely get around that.
Won't be looking at doing any brewing til late March so may get in touch when I'm ready and see how it's done :handgestures-thumbupleft: :text-thankyoublue:
