Hi all, I'm a virgin to distilling so here we go. bought a T500 starter pack, ( because you get most things required with) doing a wash atm plan on doing a run on Sunday. will be mainly doing whiskey, with a bit of gin and a few others. will be trying a TPW next . about the only thing I can't seem to find out on here is what do you use to sanitize/ clean the jars and bottles before you use them
thanks for the add

Welcome mate.

I squirt my fermenters out with a hose, and clean my bottles and cuts jars with hot water...

If whiskey is your aim, I see a pot still in your future.

G'day mate welcome aboard, sanitizing isn't as crucial in distilling as it is in making beer but I use Starsan just because of old brewing habits but it isn't necessary, just a good clean with soapy water and rinse is all you need. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
