Found this handy funnel today, stainless steel and comes with a filter (very fine mesh) and a collar to help position in the mouth of vessels.

Found the alcometer friendly vase by searching for Tajt, thanks for that!!

Any idea of the ikea 'name' of the jar with the natural cork stopper?

Cheers,

Natjac.

5.5 L jar with stainless tap. Silicon seals on tap and all stainless lid (no seal). Not sure about quality of silicon but I reckon it could be replaced easily with something better if it's not great. Gonna get one for aging with dominoes.

Also going to get a pack of these to install in my new still setup to see into my sight glasses easily. They come with an extension arm that I'll use to position in place. 4 W, 0.02 Amp draw.

Grabbed a shifter from the back of the car and pulled the tap off, silicon seal doesn't discolour when bent :handgestures-thumbupleft: just gotta take the stopcock off when I get home and see what seal is inside. It takes an allen key. Ironic that I just left Ikea and got everything I needed...except an allen key.

Update, these are no longer a stocked item at Ikea. We had two, one for my alcometer and the other for the other half's occasional rose, but she broke hers. Not letting her have mine :teasing-neener:
