brass ferrules

just wanted see what you guys think of these parts . i like the look of brass and copper together but they are pricey once you add up all the pieces . Do you guys think they would work well.

If brass is in the vapour path, piss it off and swap it for copper, no matter how good it looks. Brass, even the so-called lead free stuff still contains lead, lead is bad end of story.

thanks mate I'm a spray painter and have enough lead in me so east flange it is.

I read somewhere the jedneck build thread, it's pretty awesome how he used a stainless drum as the boiler. Its a 2 tone Bubbler using copper and brass on the column (brass should be avoided they say) but not sure if the way he has done it would be ok. (I just loved the huge size of boiler)

ill be searching for it now. Ive got a miller dynasty 200 tig welder but must say the soft soldering looks a lot easier.

Soft soldering is pretty easy mate. I did it and I'm as handy as an ashtray on a motorbike when it comes to metal work.
