Toormina Country Brewer HBS has these 50 liter fermenters

Matt says they are Second Hand .Were used in a Microbrewery and the guy fermented in bags so there are basically Brand new.
Come with a Bung and airlock .They have a screw bung in the bottom but will accept a screw in tap.

$30 for 1
$50 for 2

He has about 20 there and there may be a few more available

Yes definitely good value, the local HBS here wants $50 each for them new.

I bought one while The Occasional Parrot was still open (also came with a shiteload of spec grains, mostly dark stuff)
I'll be grabbing maybe 2 more from Country Brewer now :)

No not sure ...just what he told me ...But I was thinking the same ..Maybe it will hold 50 liters with a space for foam up :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I just brought 1 60L for $60 from the Lismore homebrew shop.

I'm from Coffs Harbour and I wish I was back at some, because I'd pick up a couple for sure!

I popped into Country Brewer on the way home from work today and Matt told me about you not being able to pass up getting 2 fermenters, Yummy lol
I'm grabbing another one next week along a couple of sacks of grain, I figure one for double beer batches and one for spirit washes should keep me happy for a bit :)

Sam I contacted him and there could be more.Hes still waiting to here back from his guy....will let you know if more arrive
