Has anyone found a source of supply of this stuff in 3/8" anywhere in Australia? (anything under 1/2" in fact)

I have spent the whole day and come up empty :angry-banghead:

Thanks.

No, not conduit. It is S.S. tubing to wind a reflux condenser coil out of. It is used for Gas usually, so is water tight.

What are you plans for your condenser idea?

Disregard earlier response, I thought you were looking for something to use to roll the condenser on. I thought copper was the go. I'd imagine that ss would be difficult to roll given its relative hardness.

Cheers

You are probably better off getting an annealed roll of copper and forming with that. The stuff is soft and easy to work. I dare say it will be much cheaper too.

Yep, that is option 2 and price might make it option 1

I haven't been able to source 3/8th copper down here yet. Still a few places to try though.
Ebay is over $40 for 5M which is way too much length, and way too pricey.
