I have just found out that Reese Plumbing supplies in NSW are selling copper pipe in the large sizes by the metre. :happy-partydance:

Note it's by the metre, by the cm or mm. There 2.3mm wall is around $340.00 pm.

If you can find a plumber they should have a trade account with Reece which will drop the cost significantly ;-)
