Armor-flex is what it's commonly known as in the refrigeration game, Tradelink, Reece, Polyaire all stock it in various sizes & it comes in 1.8m lengths ;)

Maheel if you end up using the type that comes in a roll, the best way I have found of holding it in place is to use what is known to some as "hockey tape"......its a type of cloth tape used to cover the handles on Hockey sticks, Its really sticky tough shit and holds up to heat well, its also black like the insulation so looks ok, I know most roller hockey places have it in stock and its probably available at sports stores. It comes in a few widths, go for the wide one.
BTW...welcome to the forum OD....good to have another experienced distiller here.

not sure if it's the same as the on they use on horses legs to strap them up ? we used to use the horse one (bit more crepe tape looking) on our finger for offshore reef handline fishing in Townsville.

get hit up by a double header of 7kg ish Nannygai and would cut your fingers to the bone without it, top fun but.
