Just thought i would post this for anyone in brissy looking for 1/2" copper hard drawn. Rang around calling Tradelink stores and the best they could do was $9.36 per meter or $37.90 for 6m which was dearer on the phone than when i got the price of $36.58 in the shop. Turns out if i buy 1 lengths of 1.5m of 1/2" at bunnings it works out to be $8 per meter. Only need 2 of them and its cheaper. Wouldn't think Bunnings would have been cheaper 8-}

Flareing is not technicaly correct,tube expanding is as the tool is called a tube expander and yes allows you to join same size tube .cheers hillzabilly

Flaring makes a cone \_/
Expanding makes a socket (mmm that's not so easy to draw :-B )

Nice tools Hillz but the first one is a branch puller is it not?
And the second is way beyond what most would ever need
A simple plumbers expander, comes in all sizes this one does 15, 20, and 25mm
