2" Filter Disc

Postby Woodsy71 » Sun Mar 06, 2016 4:50 pm

G'day all,

I'm looking to get my hands on a mesh/stainless 2 inch filter disc. I plan on setting up my modular potstill as a carbon filter system, using the disc between parts to hold back the carbon.
Any ideas where i can find them?

Could use a single stainless scrubber jammed in the bottom so long as there's something below it to stop it falling out (Valve?) Personally I use cotton wool in my 1" filter.

At bunnings in the plumbing area they sell a dished disc with holes in it. I think its for sink drains
Not sure if the holes are to big though

I bought a s/s funnel from a cookery supply shop and it came with a removeable perforated disc for filtering.
