Molasses in Adelaide

Postby captainmorgan36 » Fri Mar 18, 2016 3:47 pm

Hi, I have tried looking on the forum for a good source of bulk molasses in Adelaide. I haven't come up with much just one reference about 3 years old to goble and son.

Where do you guys get good reasonably priced molasses in Adelaide?

Should have been clearer, when I said bulk I meant like 20-50l not 500ml or 1 litre jars like at the supermarket.

By bulk I didn't mean 44 gallon drums of the stuff!

I am in Salisbury, but can and sometimes do have need to go south of the city,

Who do you get yours from?
Is it non sulphured?

I don't mind going for a drive if Its good stuff at a fair price.

I think most people here just use stock feed, buy a small sample first and make sure it ferments before buying bulk :handgestures-thumbupleft:

You should have plenty of stock feed places out north mate ... Anywhere there's horses there will be a good stock of molasses. At a couple $ a litre it's cheap enough to take a gamble :handgestures-thumbupleft:
