1 can Thomas Coopers Sparkling Ale
1 can Wheat Malt
250g Crystal - medium
15g Amarillo @ 15, 5 and dry hop.
Yeast - US05
Been sitting for about 8 days.
Actually fermented out nicely. Will leave for another week.
Cold condition - Hopefully I have my beer fridge by then. Other wise the missus may query why, when she gets home, the fridge is missing all shelves and items. And holds the fermenter instead.... :laughing-rolling:
Fermented out at 16'c.

Really looking forward to this one. Will be my first kegged as well. So I will probably over, or under carb.

Cheers

That's a great yeast, I use that for all ales unless I'm going Belgian when I prefer the Wyeast Belgian Abbey 1214.

I always pitch onto the yeast cake for my little creatures clone which I hop up the whazoo with nelson sauvin.

Yeah I've only used it maybe a couple of times. I prefer having the yeast ferment out at lowest temps possible. (have not played with lager yeasts though).
Do you just re-brew onto the trub? I worry about infection... To be fair I've been more concerned with spirit wash's lately. But now I've moved onto kegging :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Its actually not a terrible drop the pale ale, I just made a tea stew and added a touch more Pride of ringwood. Its effective enough :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Just kegged!
JSGA K & K.
Been on slow force carbonate for about a week at room temperature.
Still waiting on beer fridge and keg taps etc.
But just poured myself a room temperature beer, then freezer-ed, still a bit green but definitely has potential.
A bit of beer hose attached to beer pin lock connect pours a very heady beer. :laughing-rolling:

Next will be a fat yak clone attempt once my hops arrive!

Cheers

I've begun BIAB, fermenting out a 10 min Amarillo IPA, A Nelson sav. Ale, and going from a Carlton draught lager clone. All grain! Cost me about half as much as k & k. Can't wait to keg it!

Just put about a 3rd of a batch of special bitter down the drain

Walked into work this morning to the lovely sound of a bottle detonating, urgh #-o , Just spent the last 30mins popping tops and getting drenched in beer, the customers are going to have to put up with me smelling like a brewery today

Don't get that problem with kegs,
Just over-carbonated beer as a worst case scenario.
After bottling, rack to keg, chill overnight, set the reg and voilà!
Anyone else here AG??

Yeah I quickly went from k&k to ag when I first started brewing after I couldn't formulate the beer styles I wanted to make from k&k. Just did my first run on a new 50l braumeister the other week - did a glenmorangie clone attempt. Next is to see what it does with my 90 min IPA recipe.

It works out cheaper than K&K, definately worth a shot. I've just started to get it down pat!

And night and day nicer :handgestures-thumbupleft: just a bit more work.

I'd love get into kegging but we're a 4 fridge household at the moment so I don't think it'll happen anytime soon
I can't complain too much though as it's the first bottle bomb I've had and it gives us an excuse to get drinking them quick :))

Yeah I know the fridge dilemma.
1 good fridge in the house.
1 keg fridge in the garage.
1 brew fridge with stc1000 next to the one in the garage.

Mind you its a single garage that we struggled to fit the girlfriends astra..... :laughing-rolling:

Yeah,
House fridge
House Deep freezer
Laundry Drinks fridge
Laundry Brew fridge
2x Laundry Brew mats
Keg Bar fridge
Bar beer fridge
Then add on top a pool pump and a shitty old aircon unit, fuck the carbon tax, this shit is expensive :?:

I do AG on a 3v setup, as for fridges I got 1 house fridge, 1 house freezer, 2 fermenting fridges and a chest freezer for the kegs (keezer) :P

Cant complain about the cost I done a 15min wheat beer on the weekend so first hops went in 15mins and another at flame out it cost me $46.70 for 42lts of beer at 1.048OG and used liquid yeast :D

cant complain at that!
